14 DAY TRIAL // Sofia Vergara recently turned 40 but, unlike many other birthday girls, she got the best present ever when her boyfriend of 2 years, Nick Loeb, surprised her with a huge diamond ring and a marriage proposal.
The actress might have given herself away by posing for a photo with friends at a birthday party, which was later posted on Twitter – and Sofia could be seen wearing a giant rock on her engagement finger.
Wonderwall was the first to pick up on the story and, at the time of writing, is still waiting for a comment from Sofia's rep.
“Did Sofia Vergara unwrap a shiny new rock for her ring finger on the eve of her 40th birthday? All signs point to YES!” the e-zine enthuses.
“A source tells Wonderwall that Vergara’s boyfriend, Nick Loeb, gave Vergara an engagement ring in Mexico,where the actress has been celebrating her milestone birthday with close friends and family. She turned 40 on Tuesday,” says the publication.
Inside sources confirm the happy news and, while some are thrilled about it, there are also those who believe Sofia could do so much better, especially considering he reportedly cheated on her just a few months ago.
“She is engaged,” says a spy.
“She's the nicest, sweetest, kindest person on the Earth, but she has a thing for bad boys. And she found one with him,” adds another, hinting that Sofia could find a better man if she continued looking for him.
As noted before, reps for the actress and Loeb were not immediately available for comment.

This would be the second time that Sofia walks down the aisle.
