He played a gay man looking to start a family with his husband by adopting on the hit series “Desperate Housewives” but, as it turns out, with Tuc Watkins, life really does imitate art.

In a new TV interview with Marie Osmond which doesn’t air until Monday, April 29, the handsome actor, who is also known for his work on the hit soap opera “One Life to Live,” reveals that he’s gay and a single dad of twins.

Check out his announcement in the preview embedded above.

“When I was young, I knew three things: I knew I was gay, I knew one day I was gonna be a dad, and I knew that Gene Wilder's Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory was going to be the best movie of all time,” he says.

“So far, I've been right about all three,” the handsome actor adds.

I imagine coming out must have been difficult for him, or at least very taxing: his hands are shaking at one point from the nerves.
