Reality star Snooki, she of MTV's “Jersey Shore” fame, is now pregnant with her first child. Though she's not exactly what one might consider “mother material,” Snooki is determined to prove everybody wrong, as she says in her new interview with V Magazine, now out on newsstands.

Sitting down with the magazine for a candid interview – and just as candid a photospread – the diminute star says that she considers herself the most bullied celebrity out there.

At the same time, though, she's determined not to let haters have their way by getting at her. On the contrary, she wants to prove them wrong by allowing them to see what a wonderful mother she can – and will – be.

Of course, the idea that she will, one day, have her own kid, makes Snooki very excited.

“I can't wait to meet my kid! Everyone will be surprised to see a different side of me. I'm loving, caring, sensitive, protective and very maternal, no matter what people might think,” she says.

She's grown accustomed to being bullied and having people get the wrong idea of her, even though they hardly ever bother to get to truly know her.

“[I'm] the number one most-bullied celebrity. I've been bullied my whole life. In high school, me and my girlfriends were freshmen and we were all pretty girls in cheerleading and stuff, so the older girls would bully us because all of their guys want to hang out with us,” the star says.

This early experience has helped her develop her own, strong personality, as well as a certain resistance against trends that everybody else embraces.

“I really don't go with trends, I don't try to fit in like everyone else does in Hollywood. I just like to be different and I don't care,” Snooki says.

“I think even haters love us. And I have a lot of haters. I mean, people used to say I was fat when I was the hottest thing ever. Imagine what they say now,” she muses.

The full interview, together with plenty more shots of the pregnant star, is available in V Magazine, the Americana Issue.
