Sniper Elite 3 has just got a new video, in which the team of developers at Rebellion answer some community questions regarding the upcoming game's multiplayer and co-op features.

The video is also the first instance of gameplay from these modes being shown to the public. The developers reveal that all the experience points accrued in multiplayer can also be utilized to gain access to new weapons and customization features in single player, and that players can take their single-player loadout and use it in multiplayer as well.

Players will have to be careful though, because if they get killed, they lose the weapon for the duration of the round, and any enemy who picks it up will be able to make use of it until the match is over.

The extensive weapon customization options and the ability to make use of the system both in multiplayer as well as in single player unifies the whole experience and removes the need to grind exclusively in the campaign or multiplayer, allowing gamers more flexibility when it comes to their choice of gameplay.

The devs reveal that Sniper Elite 3 will have multiplayer straight out of the box, and they've made a couple of revisions in order to improve the entire experience, with players having limited ammo and with supplies being scattered all throughout the map, in an attempt to diversify the gameplay and to discourage camping.

Players will be taking on tanks and other vehicles, in addition to the regular slew of infantry forces they are used to tackling. Co-op mode will be a major part of the Sniper Elite experience, and all missions offer the option to be tackled with a friend.

As such, players will be able to use various tactics in order to take down their enemies, allowing the sniper to take a position above and take out threats, while the operative gets down and dirty from close range.

The game will be playable in UK, at the Gadget Show taking place this week, as well as in the United States, during this weekend's PAX East convention.

Pre-orders for the upcoming third-person shooter game are open, and users who opt to buy the game in advance will get a nice bonus, the Hunt the Grey Wolf DLC pack, a mission which will task them with taking down the evil Fuhrer himself, Adolf Hitler.

Sniper Elite 3 is slated for a June 27 launch in Europe and July 1 in North America, coming to the PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One platforms.
