In Jay Z and Will Smith's remake of “Annie,” Cameron Diaz is turning Miss Hannigan into a ghetto villain with “H-Bomb” necklace and everything, just perfect to fit the stage of a hip hop musical in New York.

Diaz just released on Twitter a photo with her in her new character as the evil orphanage owner from the movie “Annie,” saying “I want you to meet someone. Her name is Ms. Hannigan. She ain't nice and she ain't pretty.”

For the part, Cameron is equipped with the complete ghetto look, starting with the big hoop earrings, gold necklaces with the writing “H-Bomb,” bouffant hairdo and lots of makeup.

Nothing like the drunken Ms. Hannigan we all know and hate, Diaz is cut to make a huge difference as the evil orphanage owner. The familiar Carol Burnett character from the 1982 film wouldn't be pictured wearing short denim cut-offs, high heeled boots, tights or a fluffy gray jumper.

The “Annie” remake stars Quvenzhane Wallis in the lead role and Jamie Foxx as the millionaire Benjamin Stacks. The remake is produced by Jay Z and Will Smith, directed by Will Gluck and based on the screenplay of Emma Thompson.

Jay Z has been a big fan of the famous musical “Annie” since 1982, somehow relating to the story. “When the TV version [of Annie] came on, I was drawn to it. It was the struggle of this poor kid in this environment and how her life changed...it immediately resonated,” he said, according to DailyMail.

The new “Annie” is set in modern-day New York, and focuses on a small African American orphan instead of a freckled red-headed child like we were used to. Initially, the remake was starring Will Smith's daughter Willow, but the pop star backed out. “Daddy, I have a better idea, how about I just be 12,” the “Whip my Hair” singer told her father according to an interview earlier this summer.

“Annie” is set to hit the theaters in December, 2014.
