Beeline Interactive, developers of Smurfs’ Village have just released an important update for the Android game, which adds lots of new content and some under the hood improvements.

First of all, players will now be able to expand their Space Village and place Baker Smurf’s hut on the Swoof Planet “to whip up new smurfy ‘n’ sweet decorations.”

There’s also a new Cake Tower Smurfy Wonder that can be built, which in return will give players one free Smurberry per week. The latest update brings a new Space Critter Storage dome that allows players to keep their favorite strange space critters safe.

More tweaks and new features have been added in this update as well. Check out the full list of changes included in this update:

- Let the new long-snouted space creature loose on the Swoof Planet to collect all your daily XP and coin rewards; - Put some heart into your village with new Valentine’s Day decorations and a FREE pink Cupid statue; - Start smooching! Earn bigger rewards from Smurfette’s air kisses in honor of Valentine’s Day; - Expand your space river with romantic new love-themed tunnels and river rides; - Watch love bloom all over your village as you grow sweet new Valentine’s Day themed crops.

Given the fact that developers have already added some Valentine’s Day related features, we suspect that there won’t be any other content update until late February or early March.

You can now download Smurfs’ Village for Android 1.3.7.a for free via Google Play Store. Keep in mind that the game should be fully compatible with most devices powered by Android 2.2 and up.

It is also worth mentioning that Smurfs’ Village is one of the few Android games in the genre that allows players to manage their villages without having to connect to the Internet.
