In truth, this is more a confirmation of people's suspicion than anything else

We didn't really expect some information on the dual-GPU GeForce GTX 690 to emerge so soon after the GK106 specs, but here we are.

Then again, we can't really say Expreview's information is much more than a confirmation of what people would have expected.

Yes, the dual-GK104 card supports PCI Express 3.0, yes, it has need of two 8-pin PCI Express power connectors and yes, it will carry over the whole feature pack of GTX 680.

Still, there are some important tidbits, like the power supply requirements (650W PSUs are the minimum) and the display outputs (three DVI, one DisplayPort).

Alas, we still have to wait for the memory amount and clocks, much to our chagrin. At least we know the release won't be too far behind that of AMD's own dual-GPU card, Radeon HD 7990.
