It seems that fans of the Sly Cooper franchise have one more reason to buy the recently released Sly Collection, as it seems that the game includes a special teaser trailer for the next iteration in the series, Sly 4.

The Sly Collection contains the three original Sly Cooper Games, Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus, Sly 2: Band of Thieves and Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves, all remastered in high definition, as well as a series of PlayStation Move games, all on a single Blu-ray disc.

According to new reports, however, that's not all, as after the player unlocks all of the trophies for all the games, thus unlocking the Platinum ones, a new option appears on the screen.

If selected, it plays a short teaser trailer that shows a guard and Sly Cooper, presumably, getting ready to strike.

The video ends immediately by showing a logo for Sly 4, and with question marks below, probably because Sucker Punch isn't ready to offer all of the details on its new project.

The studio did hide a special Easter Egg in its first PlayStation 3 game, inFamous, but remained silent when asked if it is working on bringing Sly Cooper to the PlayStation 3 with a full pledged game.

For those not familiar with the series developed by Sucker Punch, it features (obviously) Sly Cooper, who is a master thief that must embark on different quests throughout the three games that have been released for the PlayStation 2.

Now, with the Sly Collection, the burglar has made its debut onto the PlayStation 3, even though he is just appearing in HD versions of his previous titles, and in a series of mini-games designed for the PlayStation Move.

With this new teaser though, it seems that Sly will appear in a full pledged PS3 game soon.

Until Sony or Sucker Punch officially admit that Sly 4 exists, check out the teaser trailer below.
