A 35-year-old man from Pinner, North London was accused of convincing his Norwegian mistress to submerge her one-year-old daughter in a bucket of water and watch her drown, because she was interrupting their Skype conversation.

Ammaz Qureshi allegedly told his 28-year-old mistress to shut up the crying baby by dunking it in a bucket of water and then watching it die. The baby was interrupting their secret video chat and angered the man enough to want her dead.

The married man had a secret relationship with the Norwegian mother and after being accused of masterminding the baby's death and prior months of abuse, he was extradited from Britain and charged with premeditated murder and assault in Oslo, notes Daily Mail.

Prior to the horrible incident that ended up with the death of the one-year-old baby girl, Qureshi allegedly tortured the little girl by forcing her to eat chili powder, binding her legs for hours or making her stay awake for long periods of time.

Despite being married for seven years, the man started a relationship with the Norwegian woman after meeting her in London in 2010. The woman returned to Oslo after a few months, but they kept in touch via video chat and phone calls or texts. During their virtual calls, the man used to make the mother do horrible things to the toddler like making her sleep on the floor or hold her head under running water in the sink.

Ammaz, who wasn't the father of the baby, instructed his mistress to submerge the baby in water, the woman complied and the second time she dunk the baby, the little girl lost consciousness.

The mother called emergency services, but the next day the baby died and she was arrested. During interrogations, she told officers that the whole incident was instructed by Qureshi and that many other child abuse episodes happened due to his guidelines.

The man was arrested in Oslo and denies any part in the murder of the little girl. His mistress also denies premeditated murder blaming the whole incident on Ammaz. In order to clarify the situation and punish the two for the horrible acts, a thorough trial is ready to start this winter in Oslo.
