Were one to sum it up, though that would take some of the pleasure of seeing it, it's action-packed, insane James Bond-ery of the kind we've never seen before.
The first look at the Sam Mendes-directed flick does its job perfectly (that is, it teases), but doesn't give away too much of the plot.
We do know though that some people are coming to kill Bond and his associates, but he's determined to “kill them first.”
“Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost,” a brief synopsis of the film says.
“Skyfall” arrives in theaters in Europe in October, and in the US the following month.
