If you are a customer of television satellite service Sky Television and are also a tablet owner, we have good news for you.

The Sky Go Tablet for Android has been officially made available and is up for download via the Google Play store. The new application is compatible with the Xperia Tablet Z and Xperia Z Ultra and a variety of other Android tablets.

Note that you will have to have Android 4.0 or later installed on your device for the app to actually work. If you have the KitKat 4.4 update installed on your Nexus slate, you might be experiencing some issues with the app, but Google is working to solve the problems.

Installing the app on your tablet will give users access to the in-demand catalogue of over 800 movies, entertainment shows and kids programs. Users will have access to Movie, News and Sports channels, regardless of their location.

On top of that, customers can download their favorite TV shows or movies on their device and watch it later. The Sky Go Tablet app is free, so download it now!
