A 44-year-old father from Switzerland with amazing Photoshop skills has transformed pictures of his daughters into stunning works of art by creatively manipulating them in order to place the little girls into their fairytale worlds or other awkward situations.

John Wilhelm, who is an IT professional at a Swiss university by day and a self-professed photoholic by night, digitally enhanced photographs of his three girls – Lou, aged five, Mila, 2, and six-month-old Yuna – to produce new and imaginative pictures, some of which you can see in the photo gallery below.

The father, who clearly has a strong passion for photography and digital art, spends hours combining normal photos with other images in order to create something entirely new.

“Most of my images are heavily manipulated but not all of them are compositions. If an image works straight out of the camera I just improve it. What I really love is to bring different images together to create something completely new,” Wilhelm told Bored Panda.

When it comes to his “tools,” John explains that most of his works are done using Adobe Photoshop’s CC and NIK filters.

On his website, Wilhelm details his passion for photography saying, “There is one thing of importance in my life: everything connected to photography and photoshopping. I'm not a professional but I've got a professional attitude and I think I'm able to deliver professional work with professional reliability.”
