14 DAY TRIAL // Country music legend George Jones is now in hospital. Several of his upcoming shows have been canceled, but, before you freak out, know that the exact details of his condition are not known at this time.
Fans learned of the news on his official blog.
“Today, country music icon George Jones was admitted to a local Nashville hospital for observation. During a routine checkup, Mr. Jones was running a slight fever with irregular blood pressure,” the announcement says.
“This weekend’s shows in Atlanta, Ga. and Salem, Va. are postponed. Information on the rescheduling of these concerts will be available soon,” it adds.
Though it doesn’t sound like something very serious, given Jones’ age (he’s 81), having him hospitalized probably made sense as a precaution.
