Sinead O’Connor is determined to drag Miley Cyrus to court for having mocked her mental issues and for hinting that she was still struggling with them. In a third open letter, posted on her Facebook page this time, the singer is urging Miley to publicly apologize – or else.

The feud started with a first open letter from Sinead, in which she expressed concern that, by allowing her record label and manager to pimp her, Miley was damaging her career because people lost focus of her music.

The letter was penned in a rather maternal tone and included an unsolicited piece of advice to Miley, to stop showing everything on camera if she wanted to have longevity in the industry.

Miley hated it. She responded on Twitter saying that “before Amanda Bynes, there was” Sinead, and included a screenshot of Sinead’s tweets from 2 years ago, in which she was asking if a doctor could give her prescription meds without having to go to the hospital.

It’s that which sent O’Connor over the edge, making her consider her legal options. She says this implication that she was having mental issues like Bynes, who is currently in hospital receiving treatment, having been admitted against her will after she set fire to a woman’s driveway, is damaging her career.

“I have no interest whatsoever in meeting you. You had plenty of time yesterday to abuse Amanda Bynes .. an entirely innocent party.. and myself.. who also did nothing to deserve your abuse.. along with every other sufferer of mental health problems and every person who suffered abuse at the hands of priests,” Sinead writes.

She wants a public apology and those tweets deleted, and she will settle for nothing else.

“If you cannot apologize I will have no choice but to bring legal proceedings against you since it is extremely hard to be given work when people think one is suffering from mental illness. I have no interest in or desire to cause you trouble but if you do not apologize for having deliberately tried to cause me hurt and trouble personally and professionally I will have to bring pressure upon you,” she writes.

Sinead also urges Miley to “be a proper woman” and “cease behaving in an anti-female capacity,” because “you will become the victim of it shortly,” but she promises she will visit her when she too ends up in the psych ward. Only if she apologizes publicly ASAP.

For the record, Miley is yet to remove the tweets that offended Sinead this much.
