No one should ever mock people with mental issues, let alone on social media, she says

Sinead O’Connor is having none of Miley Cyrus’ sassiness so, in a second open letter, she is ripping into the pop star without any kind of remorse, calling her a stupid and ignorant girl who should be ashamed for mocking people with mental issues.

It all started a couple of days ago when, a propos of Miley’s recent antics, Sinead penned a beautifully worded open letter to Cyrus, urging her to focus on herself as an artist and ditch the naked shenanigans because they would only harm her in the long run.

Sinead also said that she was an example of why female artists must never play by the tunes that record label people sing, or else they wouldn’t have longevity and be just a flash in the pan.

Either Miley thought her artistry could not stand such criticism or she really doesn’t want people talking about her, but she responded with a few Twitter jabs, two of which hinted that Sinead was insane.

Sinead did have some problems a few years ago, but she got treatment for them. Mental illness should never be made light of and she’s extremely furious that a girl like Miley would be as ignorant as not know that.

“I mean really really… who advises you? have you any idea how stupid and dangerous it is to mock people for suffering illness? You will yourself one day suffer such illness, that is without doubt. The course you have set yourself upon can only end in that, trust me,” O’Connor writes.

“I am staggered that any 20 yr old woman of the 21st century could behave in such a dangerous and irresponsible manner as to not only send the signal to young women that its ok to act like prostitutes but also to the signal that those who have suffered or do suffer mental health problems are to be mocked and have their opinions invalidated,” she says.

“Have you no sense of danger at all? or responsibility? Remove your tweets immediately or you will hear from my lawyers. I am certain you will be hearing from all manner of mental health advocacy groups also. It is not acceptable to mock any person for having suffered,” the singer says.

Sinead also rips into Miley for re-posting the 1992 photo of her ripping the Pope’s picture on TV and saying that was proof she was crazy. It seems her words struck a chord, because she removed it, but not the other tweets.

In the same open letter, posted on Sinead O’Connor’s website, she removes the gloves when talking about Miley’s image, saying she’s acting like a regular call girl and boasting it’s feminism.

“You could really do with educating yourself, that is if you’re not too busy getting your [breasts] out to read,” she concludes by saying. Ouch.
