EA just can't stop making games

Some important pieces of information were revealed, as EA announced the release dates for two of their most anticipated games, Crysis and Army of Two. Crysis will be available on PCs while Army of Two will come for the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360. Supposedly, these games will come until the end of the current fiscal year, namely until March 31, 2007.

EA Chief financial officer Warren Jenson, revealed that EA is working to develop some of their more powerful franchises, to be more specific, they will develop some sequels. Jenson confirmed that a third installment in the Sims series is currently in development. He added that Sims 3 is most likely to be launched in the 2009 fiscal year.

The EA official also has some good news for console enthusiasts as he confirmed that the Sims franchises will be ported to PS3 and Wii. He added that the Sims II holiday edition will be coming on PS3, but he did not specify which holiday season, the 2006 season or the 2007 season?

Jenson couldn't stop talking and revealed some more titles for the 2007 fiscal year. A new Lord of the Rings game will be launched along with a new SimCity game and a new version of Black.
