14 DAY TRIAL // Not so long ago, SimpleStream launched a TV mobile streaming app, called the TVPlayer which recorded 250,000 downloads in the first 28 days it was released in beta version.
Drawing form the success, the tech company has now rolled out the tablet version of the app, which is compatible with Android slates and Amazon’s Kindles.
TVPlayer is targeted at UK TV license holder and allows them to watch UK TV channels on their mobile devices within a single app.
The tablet app includes a seven-day program guide and lets users surf channels within the video player. Additionally, tableters will be able to set up reminders, thus ensuring they will never miss their favorite show or TV episode.
TV watchers can browse channels grouped under the entertainment, news, music kids and Desi tags. The wide range of channels available within the app includes BBC, ITV1, Channel 4 and Channel 5.
