He’s already admitted to regular Botox use but, now, television personality Simon Cowell has turned his attention elsewhere for a good ally in the fight against signs of old age. He’s discovered a super smoothie that he drinks “religiously,” it has emerged.

The Daily Mail claims that Cowell discovered the smoothie while on his travels through the US, auditioning for the brand new version of X Factor – and he’s been drinking it ever since.

Moreover, he always makes sure he has all the ingredients he needs for it nearby, and even flies them from other parts of the world just so he can have his glass of smoothie every day.

Talk about commitment to looking good.

“The music mogul is said to have become hooked on an anti-ageing smoothie that he discovered while touring the U.S. for the American X Factor auditions recently,” the Mail writes, saying the smoothie is very similar in composition to the so-called “Super Smoothie.”

“Cowell has a fresh helping of the juice made every day from ingredients including lingonberry, acerola berry and chokeberry, and he drinks it religiously,” the tab writes.

“It is said the X Factor judge got a taste for the smoothie in Miami, and a member of his staff had to make sure the unusual fruits were available in Dallas when he joined his fellow judges to film the talent show,” adds the same publication.

So far, Cowell has not commented his newfound love of the smoothie though, knowing him, he shouldn’t take long in addressing this rumor.

When talk of his Botox use seemed to be getting out of hand some time ago, he talked about it openly, saying that he was vain and wanted to look his best on camera.

He’d gotten so much Botox done until then that he’d come to see it no more painful than brushing his teeth.

“Vain? Yeah, I am. But to be honest with you, I can’t think of one person who is on TV who isn’t vain. It’s the nature of the beast. If you are on TV then you have a vanity, for sure. Just admit it! Why not?” he said, as cited by the Mail.

“Yes, I’ve had Botox, but not in an obsessive way. Then again, every guy I know who works in the City has had it now,” Cowell added.
