SilverStone seems to have more than just a silver vein inside of it, as it has managed to deliver some 80Plus Gold-rated power supplies, though it has yet to actually say how much they sell for.

With all the new hardware coming out, especially new graphics cards, it so happens that end-users may end up needing to buy a better PSU when upgrading their PCs.

Central processing units may be getting more and more adept at working on as little current as possible, but other components can't claim the same.

There is also how various enthusiasts like to push their CPUs and memory over the top, so high-grade PSUs of even over 1,000W are mandatory for them.

Eager to meet the requirements of as many high-end and such enthusiast-grade customers as possible, SilverStone brought out four Strider Gold PSUs.

They have power output of 750W, 850W, 1,000W and 1,200W, respectively, and various assets.

While they all come with a single 12V rail, they have seven protection technologies that ensure a long lifetime and stability.

Said technologies are protection against over power, over voltage, over current, short circuit, no load, under voltage and over temperature.

SilverStone also made sure to add Active PFC (Power Factor Correction) and to use Japanese main capacitors, as well as a 135mm fan (19 to 36 dBA sound output).

Furthermore, the newcomers boast a MTBF of 100,000 hours and are compliant with the ATX 12V 2.3 and EPS 12V standards.

Finally, all the new SilverStone Strider Gold power supplies are, as their names imply, 80Plus gold-rated and, as a final bonus, utilize a fully modular design.

Those seeking a first-hand view of the products need only drop by the official product page located on the company's website, although, as already mentioned, no information was given on the price tags.
