Elizabeth Olsen, the other Olsen sister (not the twins), has yet another critically acclaimed movie coming out this spring. “Silent House,” a remake, has just gotten its first official trailer.

“Blair Witch” and “Paranormal Activity” have perfected the technique of the lost and found footage, proving that scares can be more effective if audiences are kept in the dark as to their nature.

Chances are the same goes for “Silent House.” Based on the Uruguayan “La Casa Muda,” and directed by Chris Kentis and Laura Lau, the film is actually one single continuous shot.

Therefore, the tagline that invites you to experience real fear in real time, which hints at a horror movie like no other before.

“Sarah is a young woman who finds herself sealed inside her family’s secluded lake house. With no contact to the outside world, and no way out, panic turns to terror to terror as events become increasingly ominous in and around the house,” a short synopsis of the film reads.

“Silent House” opens wide in the US on March 9, 2012. Check out the trailer above to see what it's all about.
