Sidekick Slide has just been spotted at FCC looking for its approval to hit the US market. It looks like it received it, which means that it will soon be released for everyone to enjoy.

The possibility that a new Sidekick phone will be soon released in the US has recently been sustained by the announcement that DJ AM will hold a concert supported by T-Mobile. The artist performed at the two previous Sidekick unveilings and the operator is expected to release one more such handset in the near future. All this information adds up, making it clear that an announcement for the fourth such mobile phone is imminent.

Now that Sidekick Slide has just been FCC approved, there are good reasons to consider that the device will see a release at T-Mobile on the 16th of October, when DJ AM's show has been scheduled at T-Mobile. What this new Sidekick has to bring different from all three previous models is that it has Motorola as a producer, while the others came from Sharp.

Sidekick Slide will bring the same advantages as this line of devices has offered until now. It will have the sliding screen that reveals the highly useful full QWERTY keypad. Moreover, it will be capable of handling a large amount of media files and provide hours of entertainment to its user.

The 1.3 megapixel camera is one of the lowest and will only provide low quality images. Further information shows that this is a GPRS and EDGE enabled device, although not a 3G one. The specification list is short at this point, although full capabilities will be officially revealed with the phone's release.

This will happen in the near future, although everybody's money is on the 16th of October, at T-Mobile, an information sustained by all recent rumors.
