If you think about all the mobile phones and tablets available right now it's easy to see why headsets have now become so popular among earphone manufacturers, Shure just releasing a headset specifically designed to work with all those Apple products available out there.

Based on the SE210 Earphones, the new SE210m+ Sound Isolating Headset features much the same specifications as the previous model, but it adds an integrated in-line remote and microphone to the mix, making it play nice with a wide range of Apple products such as the iPhone, iPad or iPod.

As expected, this new three button remote control enables users to adjust volume, control music and video playback, record voice memos, and answer or end calls without removing the headset or headphones.

Add to these the High-Definition MicroDrivers used in the previous earphone model as well as its ergonomic design and you pretty much know that Shure has a nice headset on their hands.

This comes thanks to an optimized nozzle angle that is designed to rest comfortably in the ear as well as to the three pairs of disposable black foam sleeves and three pairs of gray flex sleeves that come bundled together with the headphones.

“As Apple continues to evolve its offerings, we are dedicated to enhancing our Music + Mobileproduct line to meet the needs of our customers who use Apple products on a consistent basis,” said Matt Engstrom, Shure’s Category Director for Listening and Monitoring Products .

“Combining the professional audio performance and sound isolation that Shure is known for, with a convenient remote and microphone, Apple users can get the most out of their devices with a push of a button.”

According to Shure, this headset will be available beginning November 19 for about $169.99, quite a decent chunk of change if you ask me.
