Although Tuesday November 13th (that's today) marks the 100th XBLA game release, Major Nelson confirms that "from 0000-0200 PT", the Xbox LIVE engineering team "will be performing server maintenance." Nonetheless, we're still going to talk about Shrek N Roll and ScrewJumper, the latest additions to the service, so you know what you're downloading when the service is up and running again.

"Specifically, Xbox.com maintenance will begin at 0000 while the Xbox LIVE service maintenance will begin at 0100," Major Nelson posts. "That means you can stay on LIVE until approximately 0100.

Both Xbox.com and Xbox LIVE will be available again at 0200.

This is for maintenance only, there will be no new features that will appear on Xbox.com, your dashboard or Xbox Live when we return to service. It's not time for the dashboard update?yet."

Shrek N Roll (official description): Join Shrek, Fiona, Donkey, Puss in Boots, and 20 other twisted fairy tale friends in Shrek-N-Roll, an addictive and hilarious puzzle game designed for ogres of all ages!

In Shrek N Roll, gamers will start rolling at Worcestershire Academy. Then they'll be finding themselves solving different problems within locations such as Pirate's ship, Shrek's Swamp and the Evil Queen's Castle. There are a total of 16 levels to master and 24 characters to meet and engage with, including Shrek, Fiona, Donkey, Puss in Boots and other unlockable heroes and villains.

The game is filled with signature Shrek humor, from fast-talking Donkey to sword-fighting Puss in Boots. Everything's there: the animation, the dialogue and environments. But wait, there's more. Multiplayer - gamers will test their tilting and rolling skills in Single Player mode, but the fun really bengins when you challenge others in Versus mode, work together in Co-op mode, or get the highest points in Score Attack mode.

As far as ScrewJumper! is concerned, players have to drive an invading alien horde back to its home world by wrecking its mining equipment, destroying the alien mine core and bail-out while they still can... alive. Main features look a little something like this, according to an older report:

- Descend and destroy 20 mines on 4 planets with 6 characters. - Compete with your friends via split screen and Xbox Live multiplayer. - Chain your destruction by plunging through objects at ultra terminal speeds. - Risk your neck in four single-player modes: Destruction, Race, Time Trial and Score.

As soon as Xbox Live Arcade is up and running, you'll be able to get your mitts on Shrek N Roll and ScrewJumper! for 800 MS Pts each.
