Though usually very discreet about his personal life, Shia LaBeouf proves very talkative for the latest issue of GQ magazine. Soon to appear in Oliver Stone’s latest film, “Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps,” the actor opens up to the mag about how he discovered a love for day-trading since working on this project, his romance to co-star Carey Mulligan and the Kardashian sisters and how annoying they can be.

LaBeouf is mostly known for his parts in the two “Transformers” films, but critics agree that he has plenty of potential that he’s just waiting to show off. Stone’s film might be just the place to do that, especially since it also allows LaBeouf to share the screen with one of the hottest actors out there, Michael Douglas, who also starred in the original 1987 film. Until fans and critics alike will get to see that for themselves, Shia reveals he’s learned one thing or two from the experience – namely how to trade in the stock market.

“I trade in my boxers now. I’m up early for the markets. I’m real-time all day long,” Shia says, gloating about the making a profit of nearly half a million in just a few hours. One topic that he’s careful about though is that of his girlfriend, Carey Mulligan. “I never really had anything in my life that was off-limits. But with this, just out of respect, I just don’t want to [expletive] around. She’s an unbelievably thought-provoking actress, the most talented actress I’ve ever met in my life, by leaps and bounds. Neither one of us are fame [seekers]. It works out. It’s not like we’re the premiere couple; we’re not the red-carpet king and queen,” Shia says.

The actor also talks about his much-mediated car crash, when his left hand was crushed and had to be surgically reconstructed. “I’d be watching the news, and they’d play my car crash, and every once in a while Kim Kardashian’s sister would jump on TV and preach to me from the red carpet about how to live my [expletive] life. And I’m so upset, man. I’m so angry. Because this accident was not caused by me. I got hit. I had a green. This [expletive] ran a red light. And he flipped my truck, and he shoveled it on my hand. And my fingers are in the street… they’re off, they’re under the truck door, man. This is fake, dude [lifts hand]. This is hip bone and the skin that was left over…” Shia says.

Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps” drops in US theaters in September 2010. For the full Shia LaBeouf interview with GQ, please refer here.
