14 DAY TRIAL // Charlie Sheen can count Shia LaBeouf among his biggest fans. In fact, the young thesp has such new-found respect for Charlie that he’s even calling himself “the new Charlie Sheen” and would want to go into business with him, a new report suggests.
Shia, who has a bit of history of wild partying and minor brush offs with the law himself, fancies himself a younger but just as interesting a version of Charlie Sheen, the National Enquirer says in its latest print edition (story via here).
Not only is he asking friends that they call him the “new Charlie Sheen” but he also admires Charlie a lot and sees him as a mentor of sorts.
Sheen’s most recent behavior and the way in which he speaks his mind regardless of consequences are inspiring for Shia, the tab claims, citing sources close to the actor.
“Shia’s personal life is getting weirder and weirder. He wants to make his mark as a two-fisted drinker and ladies’ man, just like Charlie. It’s got to the point where people started calling him ‘Charlie Junior’ after his role in Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps and his own fast-lane lifestyle,” a spy tells the Enquirer.
Apparently, it was his role in “Wall Street 2” that brought Shia and Charlie closer, so much so that they’re actually speaking on the phone regularly.
This has given Shia hope that Sheen may be open to the idea of going into business with him, the Enquirer says.
“They talk several times a week. Shia looks up to Charlie as a mentor and asks for advice about practically everything. Shia admires that Charlie isn’t affected by what anyone else thinks,” says the same spy.
The “business” in question would involve buying the Playboy mansion from Hugh Hefner and bring the Goddesses to live there.
“There’s no doubt Shia has become drawn to Charlie’s lifestyle… he’s even talking about getting some investors together to buy the Playboy mansion. Shia’s become Charlie’s biggest fan!” says the insider for the aforementioned publication.
Granted, anything seems possible these days as regards Charlie Sheen. Nevertheless, since this comes from the National Enquirer, take it with the recommended grain of salt.
