Actor gets into another brawl, is stopped from retaliating

“Transformers” star Shia LaBeouf gets almost as much media attention for the public drunken brawls he gets himself into as he gets for his acting career. A new video has emerged, showing the actor getting beat up in the street during one such fight.

Shia is now in Vancouver, Canada, shooting for a new movie. Last week, he got into an argument with a patron while out drinking at a local bar and video of the incident is now online.

TMZ writes that LaBeouf and the assailant (known as Mike) got into a fight inside the bar and were eventually kicked out by security when it became clear that they were looking for trouble.

Once here, Mike ripped off his shirt and launched an attack on Shia, throwing him to the ground and punching him repeatedly in the face, as the video below will also confirm.

Eventually, bystanders broke the two up and even prevented Shia from running after Mike, telling him he had to “lay low.”

The video also shows how much other patrons (or his friends perhaps) had to plead with him to make him see going after the guy wouldn’t do him any good.

Radar Online has more details on the altercation, citing eyewitnesses who claim Shia actually instigated everything by making a move at Mike when still inside the bar.

“Shia and the much larger patron exchanged some heated words before security pulled them apart and sent them both packing. However, once outside, the patron — identified only as Mike — spotted Shia waiting for a taxi, ripped off his shirt and unleashed a one sided attack on the star,” Radar writes.

Eyewitnesses say the actor was visibly drunk and simply didn’t know when to back out from the fight.

Moreover, they add, Shia got into no less than 3 different fights that same night that the video below was taken. He was out on the town alone, Radar writes.

“He got into a confrontation with a couple of people. He took a few punches to the face. He was obviously pretty intoxicated,” says a source.

The other day, Shia was spotted out on his morning coffee run, bearing the signs of that night’s altercation(s). He hasn’t said anything about it yet on the official channels – and neither is he expected to.
