14 DAY TRIAL // After getting arrested last week for Macing her husband during a fight that turned so violent that it required police intervention, Shauna Sand, the former wife of Lorenzo Lamas, wants a divorce – and a restraining order as well.
TMZ informs that Sand, who is also known as a former Playboy bunny, is seeking protection from her younger husband Laurent Homburger through a restraining order, which has been granted to her.
She also wants a divorce. Given her account of the incident that got the both of them arrested last week, it’s no wonder she doesn’t want to live with him in the same house anymore.
As we also informed you at the time, she only attacked and Maced Laurent because he was being very violent to her.
TMZ is now saying that the fight could have started because Shauna had told her husband that she wanted out of marriage, which probably sent him over the edge.
“Our sources at the time told us the argument took place after Shauna brought up the D-word to Laurent – and wouldn’t you know it... the divorce docs were signed and dated on May 12... a full week before the incident went down,” the e-zine reports.
“As for the restraining order, Shauna was granted the temporary restraining order on Friday, and she cited the recent fight in her application... claiming Laurent held her down, screamed obscenities and threatened to killer her,” TMZ says.
Laurent too was arrested, and charged with making criminal threats and spousal battery.
“The protective order says Laurent must stay 100 yards away from Shauna and her children, pending a court hearing on June 9,” the celebrity publication further says.
At the time word of the fight and the arrest got out in the media, rumors had it that actor Lorenzo Lamas, with whom Shauna had been married for 6 years and who fathered 3 children with her, was looking into getting full custody of the kids from her.
TMZ says now that he’s reconsidered the move, given that Laurent can’t come near them because of the restraining order.
