You have your memories on VHS video tapes. But VHS loses its quality in time and today's standard is DVD. Also, the next generation discs knock at your door. You need a device that can play your old VHS tapes, transfer them to DVDs and also have some place to store more DVD's, like a HDD. And above all that, you don't have lots of time to spend on waiting for the transfers to be made. Sharp comes with a perfect formula, that is also handy.

Sharp has introduced three 3-in-1 home burners that offer DVD burning, VHS and HDD recording. The capacities for these 3-in-1 recorders are 160, 250 and 400 GB. Although the idea is not new, these devices have surprisingly fast boot times. A normal device that does this job starts recording TV in about 20 seconds, but Sharp claims that this its own can start recording in a second.

In other words, you can do all your recording jobs, from media like VHS, TV or DVD. Moreover, you can do it really fast.
