Just like its predecessor - the W-Zero - W-Zero3 is another one of Sharp's smart Windows Mobile powered phones for the Asian market.

Sharp W-Zero3 (also known as ws007sh) would certainly be a big hit, not only in Japan, but worldwide, featuring a VGA resolution (640 x 480) 2.8" touchscreen display and a slide out QWERTY keyboard that can be hidden away whenever it is not in need and the numeric keypad is preferred.

The handheld is Windows Mobile 5.0 powered, with a Intel PXA270 416Mhz CPU, 128MB ROM/64MB RAM, and just like any other similar handheld, it enables the user to edit or read various types of documents, such as pdf or Office documents.

It comes equipped with a MiniSD card slot and a 1.3 megapixel camera with macro mode switch for sharper close-up photos and has Opera Mobile for Pocket PC preinstalled. It is no surprise that the handheld also includes a media player and a video player that allow the user to play almost all multimedia file types.

For those who are worried about how it fits in the pocket, the W-Zero3 measures 56 x 135 x 21 mm and weighs 175 grams. It can go on up to 420 minutes in talk time and will offer approximately 300 hours on standby mode, and comes in two colors, black or white.

Unfortunately, those who live outside Japan will not have the possibility to own this mobile phone, because the Sharp W-Zero 3 is only available in Japan, through mobile operator "Willcom", and will most likely never be available anywhere else.
