After launching a keyboard (Nightwriter), a mouse (Drakonia) and a couple of RAID storage devices, Sharkoon is moving on to audio devices.

The product now gracing the shelves of retailers is called X-Tactic S7, where the name stands for “ecstatic,” of course, not static noise.

Featuring 7.1 virtual surround sound, the audio product utilizes Dolby Pro Logic IIx and Dolby Headphone DSPs.

Speaking of hardware, two 40mm drivers are housed in black and red ear cups. They have 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response, 120 dB ±3 dB sound pressure level, 30 mW output, and 30 Ohm impedance.

Owners can use the newcomer as both a digital and a stereo analog headset (through use of the DAC module and the Stereo Analog headset).

If you find it at your local retailer, you'll need to pay €119.99 / $147 for it.
