They use a curved 3D frame design and air-stabilizing blades

Fans used to be the unassuming, quiet type of accessory, until hardware makers discovered the wonder of LEDs and bearings that made almost no noise. Now it's a race to see who's fan is cooler, and Sharkoon has just shown its latest hand in this game.

Which is to say, it has formally launched a new series of fans, one that looks pretty cool if I do say so myself.

It’s the first one I've seen with these oblique, etched stripes on the blades anyway.

And they're not just there for show either. Together with the 3D frame design, the blades stabilize airflow.

Meanwhile, the Fluid Dynamic Sleeve Bearing ensures good rotary speed at low noise and long life.

So the SHARK Blades can spin at 1,000 RPM with a noise of 19 dBA. All for €13 / $18. Black/red, black/blue, black/green and black/yellow color schemes are available to choose from.
