PC gaming enthusiasts are always looking for new and better devices that can help them improve their gaming skills. Ranging from better PC hardware to keyboards and mice, a number of companies have dedicated their attention to designing products that are gaming focused. On that note, there's a new toy in town just announced by Sharkoon. Dubbed FireGlider, the new product comes in the form of a laser mouse, part of the company's Rush line-up.

FireGlider will have to compete with a number of similar products on the market coming from companies such as Logitech, Razer, Roccat and many more. Gaming mice have been around for some time, providing users with unique features that aren't available on traditional mice. Such features include higher DPI, customizable buttons and a more ergonomic design. In addition to that, these gaming peripherals are also known for their really-cool look, which helps them be adopted by non-gaming users.

Sharkoon's FireGlider doesn't come short of those unique features, as it has seven buttons, six of which can be programmed with various functions through the included software application. There's also a DPI selector with six levels of adjustment from 600 to 3600 DPI and, as with other gaming mice you would know, the FireGlider comes with its own adjustable weight system. To that you can add the special grip areas, which complete the number of features enabled by the Sharkoon FireGlider. As you might expect, these features are meant to enable a gaming user to improve his skills.

If the overall design of the FireGlider and its technical specification sheet don't impress you, then you may want to consider the product's pricing. For about €25 or US$32 this mouse is ready to provide you with the high-end gaming support you require from a gaming peripheral.
