This must be the week of gaming peripherals, since quite a few of them are coming out. Sharkoon has made its contribution in the shape of the FireGlider Optical.

I'd call it uncanny if there hadn't already been a bunch of mice with all the high-end perks of this product.

As it is, the adjustable DPI (max 3000) and the Weight Tuning System aren't a shock at all. Not to say they are common, because they aren't, but they don't inspire much awe either.

Besides the 400-3000 DPI selection, Sharkoon's FireGlider Optical mouse boasts 3600 FPS refresh rate, seven buttons (five programmable via included software), a 180-cm-long textile coated cable (6 feet) and a gold-plated USB plug.

Sales should be underway for €17.99, or $24, according to exchange rates.
