14 DAY TRIAL // Believe it or not, but the hot mess that was the movie “Sharknado,” about a shark-carrying tornado, is going to get a sequel. Not only that, it has raised enough interest to sign to its cast some famous names from Hollywood.
Daily Mail is reporting that the likes of Kelly Osborne, Vivica A. Fox and Andy Dick have joined the cast, despite the fact that the first movie was blasted for very bad acting and even worse special effects.
The TV movie is going to see Kelly Osborne play a flight attendant, Andy Dick as a police officer and Fox as Fin's old high-school girlfriend.
But wait, that's not all! There are several other B-listers featured in this B movie: there's Judah Friedlander, Judd Hirsch and Mark McGrath, all of whom are going to get a part in the movie.
The action in the sequel to the shark tornado-themed movie sees the freak weather system pop up in New York City, and only Fin and April (Ziering and Reid) can save the town from utter destruction. Basically, if a Sharknado does actually hit, we're all doomed.
