You will need a Kinect sensor and an Internet link to order one

“Selfie” is one of the newest words of the English language and defines a picture you took of yourself. Shapify wanted to add a new dimension to such things.

So it created a service that will 3D print a selfie of you. Or rather, a render of you taken with a Kinect sensor.

It's like having an action figure, only instead of your favorite superhero or villain, it'll be you staring back when your eyes land on it.

Shapify is a service that Artec Group made. Once the figures are printed, they are mailed to the one placing the request.

Obviously, if you don't have a Kinect, you can't make an order, and your Windows OS will need to be Windows 7 x64-bit or better. 4Gb of RAM or more are needed too, and a Core i3, plus audio speakers.
