Clearly, that is not enough to stop rumors that Shakira and Nadal are the hottest couple on the scene, rumors that originated the moment the two started working together for the singer’s upcoming video for “Gypsy,” as the New York Daily News can confirm.
Presumably, before shooting the vid, the two spent a lot of time together, having lunch and going out, reports in the media say. Of course, they were rarely, if ever, completely alone, since these were business meetings. However, with the release of the “Gypsy” video preview (which you will also find embedded at the end of this article), the rumor mill has gone into overdrive again, as it shows the two stars cozying up and getting very comfortable with each other.

The attractive pair rolls around on a rock, hold hands, and embraces in the video for the singer’s upcoming song, ‘Gypsy,’ due out in April, according to the Daily Mail. But don’t get any ideas. Shakira, 33, is engaged to Antonio de la Rúa, son of former Argentine president, Fernando de la Rúa,” the NY Daily News says.
Yet, despite urging fans not “to get any ideas,” the publication goes on to offer the example of Enrique Iglesias and Anna Kournikova. “And Nadal, 23, is dating his high school sweetheart, says the Daily Mail. He isn’t the first tennis pro to appear in a music video. Enrique Iglesias fans will remember Anna Kournikova’s cameo in his video for the 2001 single, ‘Escape.’ That pair later began dating,” the publication says.
When Kournikova met and started dating Iglesias, she was reportedly married to hockey star Sergei Fedorov, though she never clarified these issues about her personal life.
