Shakira sure knows what sells on Valentine's! The singer released an art cover for her upcoming self-titled album which features her in a black revealing outfit, holding a guitar and looking at the camera.

The announcement came on the artist's Twitter profile, which numbers close to 24 million followers, along with a sneak peak of the art work.

She also hinted at the release day of her albums saying “The new Shakira album will launch in 39 days. We thought you'd like to see the top.”

Reactions were mixed, as some immediately fell in love with the picture and praised Shakira for her stunning features, while others wrote back saying that they hoped this won't actually be the final cover and just an intermediary preview.

The singer knows how to raise controversy after her latest video and duet with Rihanna came out and was subsequently blasted for promoting gay tendencies. The Colombian singer has partnered up with other artists as well on her new album.

The latest confirmed collaboration is fellow “The Voice” judge, Blake Shelton, who is thought to be writing a country-folk ballad for Shakira.
