The Beatles Rock Band, the videogame that Harmonix and MTV Games are set to release on September 9, will be getting at least three complete Beatles albums as downloadable content after it comes out.

Gamers already knew about Abbey Road but the New York Times has revealed that players will also be able to play the entire line up of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band and Rubber Soul. Harmonix is not saying exactly when the albums will be released and how they will be priced but it makes sense to come about one month apart and be priced the same as any other albums put up on the Rock Band Music Store.

The “Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band” album will include the following tracks: “Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band;" “With a Little Help from My Friends;” “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds;” “Getting Better;” “Fixing a Hole;” “She's Leaving Home;” “Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite!” “Within You Without You;” “When I'm Sixty-Four;” “Lovely Rita;” “Good Morning Good Morning;” “Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (reprise)” and “A Day in the Life.”

Meanwhile, those who opt for “Rubber Soul” will be getting: “Drive My Car;” “Norwegian Wood (The Bird Has Flown);” “You Won't See Me;” “Nowhere Man;” “Think for Yourself;” “The Word;” “Michelle;” “What Goes On;” “Girl;” “I'm Looking Through You;” “In My Life;” “Wait;” “If I Needed Someone” and “Run for Your Life.”

The Beatles Rock Band needs a lot of DLC, as it will face off in stores against Guitar Hero V from Activision. The latter will have a compatibility mode that will allow most tracks from World Tour and Greatest Hits to be imported for free, while The Beatles game will be completely separated from the songs already available for download for Rock Band 2.
