Hackers of Anonymous Peru have managed to breach several websites owned by the Venezuelan government as part of a campaign called OpBlackDay.

The list of affected websites includes the ones of the Agua Blanca hospital (hospitalaguablanca.gob.ve), the Portuguese Attorney (procuraduriadeportuguesa.gob.ve), Maderas Del Alba, a company under the Agriculture Ministry (maderasdelalba.gob.ve), the Fundacredesa Foundation (fundacredesa.gob.ve), and a military evaluation board (jupe.mil.ve).

Currently, all the sites display the simple defacement page posted by the hackers.

One of the group’s members has revealed that they’ve used a different method to get their protest message through to the Venezuelan government. Instead of publishing their message on the defacement page, they’ve sent emails to the addresses listed in each of the sites’ contact sections.

Here is the message contained in the emails:

“Greetings! Citizens of Venezuelan. This is a warning. We have seen that you're country lies. We don't like liars and corrupt people. We have seen that your country don't give a [expletive] about people and only wants money.

“It's wrong! We have destroyed you're website because we see wrong things in Venezuela. We want tp live in freedom, love, peace. So please listen to me and change your country.”
