A video of an adorable lamb that was recently born in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region has quickly become popular on Internet, and for good reason – the baby sheep was born with seven legs.

The strange occurrence happened in Chifeng, Inner Mongolia, in late January, and farmer Wang Jingfeng says that he was shocked to see that the lamp had seven legs instead of four. The baby was born with five forelegs and two hind legs.

According to Daily Motion, four of the limbs are of typical size, but the three extra legs are of various lengths. However, the lamb has no problems with walking around. The owner says that despite the disability, the little lamb seems to be strong and healthy.

Jingfeng also mentions that the mother sheep had no problems during the gestation period. The little lamb also seems to be developing well, just like any other regular sheep. About two minutes after birth, the lamb was able stand up by itself and approximately half an hour later it was drinking milk.

At first, the farmer considered amputating the extra legs, but since they don't hinder the lamb from walking normally, he decided not to do it.

This is not the first case of such an abnormality, which is caused by abnormal embryo growth. In August 2007, a seven-legged lamb was born on a farm in New Zealand. Experts say that about one in 7 million sheep are born with additional limbs.
