Since tablets are about to practically flood the market once CES 2011 starts, it goes without saying that hearing of another inbound collection will hardly be a surprise, although the sheer number of upcoming eLocity models might seem a bit unusual.

Apparently, Stream TV networks is gambling a lot on the slate segment, or at least this is what its current tablet plans seem to suggest.

According to a recent press release it issued, the outfit has prepared seven different eLocity tablet models, all of which are set to get listed before the ongoing month is out.

Going by the names of eLocity A10.1, A10.2, A10.3, A10.4, A10.5, A10.6 and A10.7, they will focus on portability, connectivity and sleek design, not just raw power.

All of them utilize the NVIDIA Tegra 2 SoC (system-on-chip) so one can easily assume that HD media playback and overall computing and graphical performance is significant.

By virtue of the NVIDIA Tegra 2 T-250 dual core processor, they will support various mobile apps and 3D games.

Other features mentioned in the announcement were multi-touch screens, high-speed flash storage (no capacities given), high display resolutions and Adobe Flash support, among others.

"We're pleased to introduce our new mobile tablets in time for CES,” said CEO Mathu Rajan of Stream TV.

“These additional models will make the A Series tablet line more robust and provide consumers with more options to suit their varied needs, while addressing skyrocketing demand for tablet computing solutions."

Pre-orders will become possible starting on the seventeenth of January, 2011, through MicroCenter, Frys, Sears, Newegg, Walmart, bjs,TigerDirect, Amazon. and MicroCenter.

“The eLocity A7 and A10 tablets optimize portability, connectivity, and computing power like never before in a sleek design,” says the press release.

All seven A10 tablets will be pre-loaded with the Android 3.0 Honeycomb operating system. They will be previewed at CES 2011.
