Launched in 2001 and improved in 2002, Serious Sam made a lot of fans by combining amazing graphics with humor.

Since 2002, from Serious Sam: Second Encounter, gamers have been expecting a sequel. Well, this year your waiting will be rewarded and in autumn, Croteam will release the long expected sequel.

One of the novelties of Serious Sam II is the second generation of Serious Engine graphics engine, which will allow the creation of characters with 100 times more details.

Roman Ribaric, CEO of Croteam, a game studio from Croatia, said that: "gamers can rest assured that not only we will reach again the stability record of having the most enemies simultaneously displayed on the screen, we will even exceed it"

The game's distributor will be 2K Games and it will be presented at E3 Expo 2005, where a playable version is said to be available.

The game has been previously announced for the end of 2004, but it was postponed. Let's hope this doesn't happen again.

The first details about the game will be presented in the issue from June of Computer Games Magazine , which has a cover story for it.
