College life should be full of adventures but, as it turns out, students in Boston, US, are now getting totally uncalled for and quite unpleasant adrenaline rushes, and it's all because of a so-called serial tickler operating in the area.

The public report by the local police says that an unknown man has been breaking into the homes of students living close to the Boston College for quite a while now and tickling the feet of folks who are busy enjoying a quiet night's rest.

Reports concerning this serial tickler first emerged about 2 years ago. However, they were quickly dismissed, and, in time, the story of this perpetrator became no more and no less than an urban myth, Boston informs.

Unfortunately for students in this part of the United States and their feet, it appears that the serial tickler is as real as its gets. “This is no myth. It's happening,” Sergeant Michael O’Hara has told the press in a recent interview.

“Absolutely students should be concerned. You don’t know what this guy is going to do or if he has a weapon. You need to lock your doors. It’s not as safe as you think,” Sergeant Michael O’Hara goes on to stress.

The tickler is described as a man wearing dark clothes and a hoodie. Despite his habit of breaking into people's homes, it looks like he has absolutely no interest in stealing anything from these households. Except a few giggles, that is.

“The guy didn’t take anything and there were laptops and wallets out in the main room,” says Teddy Raddell, a Boston College junior whose roommate is believed to have fallen victim to this serial tickler sometime in last year's October.

The perpetrator's modus operandi is pretty straightforward: he lets himself into the home where his next victim is sleeping, moves in for the tickle, gets the job done, and leaves before the unsuspecting student gets the chance to figure out what has just happened.

“Someone was standing at the end of the bed, and by the time I realized there was someone really there, he was booking it right out my door. When I was finally out of bed and following, he was out the back door,” a student who had a very close encounter with the tickler has told the press.

As funny as the idea of having a serial tickler of the loose might sound, the fact remains that this man might be dangerous, and that the police should, therefore, do its best to figure out who he is and bring him into custody before things take a turn for the worse.
