14 DAY TRIAL // Kim Kardashian once promised her fans in an interview that she would never go blonde because the color wouldn’t look good on her because of her skin tone and facial features. Several years and one Kanye West later, she debuted a bold, new, platinum blonde look at Paris Fashion Week, along with a much more revealing wardrobe.
The jury is still out on whether the change is flattering on her or not, but one pop star from Serbia is now making a fuss online with claims that she did it first - and better.
Jelena Karleusa says she’s got Kim Kardashian beat
Because the (over-Botoxed) ice queen look has never been done before (*sarcasm*), Jelena is stepping forward to say that Kim’s much hyped transformation, including the shocking and revealing outfit choices she made during Paris Fashion Week, is a copy of the look she’s been sporting for years.
As you can see in the Instagram shots below, Jelena is even encouraging her followers to try to spot her in a collage of photos of herself and Kim, with the obvious implication that the reality star replicated her look down to a T.
She also mocks Kim by saying that she was here first, so she’s the original, saying she’s been in the music business for 20 years and doesn’t have an infamous homemade tape to account for her popularity. Shots fired!
As expected, because Kim’s makeover got so much media attention, Jelena’s claims are the talk of town right now as well. If we were skeptics, we might be tempted to say that this Serbian pop star, who might be famous in her home country but no one from the US or other territories had heard of before, has found the perfect way to get herself in the spotlight for 15 seconds: ride on Kim Kardashian’s coattails.

Kim is keeping mum, celebrity bloggers are having fun
As of the time of writing, Kim Kardashian is yet to address claims that her look is a copy of the Serbian pop star. However, it will probably be pointless for you to wait for her to say anything about it, mostly because she’s Kim Kardashian. She would never willingly boost exposure of another act by acknowledging their existence, especially if said act attacked her first.
Meanwhile, celebrity bloggers and commenters on Twitter are having a blast with this new development, especially since no one believes Kim was behind the idea of the makeover. They think Kanye West wanted her to get it, so she just went along with it, probably hating it because the bleaching will ruin her hair.
So, if Kanye got her to do this, go platinum hair and dress the way she did in Paris, does that mean that he’s been browsing online for inspiration, found Jelena’s Instagram or Facebook and then just ripped off her outfits one by one?
