The Ultrabook that Acer intends to release next month has made the news several times already, and it looks like it did so again, now that some real photos of it have found their way to the web.

The super-thin Acer Aspire 3951 is not due for some time yet, albeit not overly long, but this did not stop market watchers from keeping an eye out for it.

Then again, products that promise to secure a share of the market for a new laptop form factor tend to do that.

Granted, the price issue doesn't seem to have been resolved yet, and it might cause problems down the road, but, in the meantime, companies are proceeding with their designs.

Acer is one such company, whose Aspire 3951 has once again caught the attention of interested parties.

From the looks of it, the product really does look like the renderings of it previously leaked, even if it seems to be somewhat thicker overall, though not by much.

For those that want a reminder, the machine measures 13.3 inches in diagonal and has a hardware configuration reliant on an Intel Core series central processing unit.

Leaks have already provided the main list of specifications, extending beyond the obvious Intel integrated graphics.

A hard disk drive, for example, is present (250 GB or 320 GB), though a SSD (solid state drive) of 160 GB can be chosen instead.

Furthermore, the product boasts HDMI, WiFi, a memory card slot, Bluetooth 4.0, HDMI, USB, Ethernet, etc.

The price cited is of $800, which is actually lower than the $1,000 mark which some PC makers and feared (and some still do) would not be easy to go below. What remains is to see if Acer's Aspire 3951 turns out to be profitable enough for the outfit to keep refining the Ultrabook device concept.
