Google is helping you send a message from Santa to anyone you wish

Google has launched an effort to track Santa down across the world, allowing users, young and old, to check out the latest development. Every day, a new step is unlocked and today’s may just be the best one yet.

Google has created a way to send customized voicemails to anyone you want via Google+ or email.

The tool requires that you spend a few minutes in front of the computer to set up the voicemail. First, they ask for your birthday, then you need to read the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy (or just go ahead and agree to them, as you always do).

The service then asks for your name and it’s probably best if you choose one from the drop-down menu since they are pre-recorded bits. You also need to provide your gender, as well as the recipient’s information, so that Santa can formulate the message accordingly.

The tool further asks about your relationship with the person, which varies from the regular family ties, to “coworker,” “dog,” “sweety” or “wingman.” The recipient’s job can be filled in too, although it’s possible to pick out “Vampire” and “Zombie killer” from the list, so you know it’s not serious.

The country the recipient lives in or a place such as La-la Land, the hood and outer space can be added too, along with a gift idea for the holiday season. A fun nickname, the right holiday, their favorite food and whatever you think Santa enjoys doing in his free time is all that’s needed to complete the message.

You can listen to the message the elves put together straight from the interface and then pick out what Google should do to make it perfect. You can always go back and change up an answer to one of the questions or just go ahead and send it.

Users can choose to send it via email, share it on Google+, through a link or even download an MP3.
