14 DAY TRIAL // Senator John McCain has commented on Twitter about news of him playing poker on his phone during a Senate hearing on the US military involvement in Syria.
The lawmaker was caught on camera playing under the table during the Senate Foreign Relations Committee meeting on Tuesday.
The look on his face yields from the fact that he lost.
"Scandal! Caught playing iPhone game at 3+ hour Senate hearing - worst of all I lost!" he wrote on Twitter, as relayed by Sky News.
The former presidential candidate has made his views on the Syrian matter known, he supports a military intervention.
Secretary of State John Kerry has lobbied for the US to "stand up and act" against the Syrian government. Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel also attended the meeting.
