14 DAY TRIAL // In an interview for Seventeen Magazine, singer Selena Gomez opens up about a lot of things typical for girls of her age. One of them is where exactly she goes to for advice on dating men. The result? Fellow singer Katy Perry is the expert on dating famous men.
The 21-year-old tells in her interview that she and Katy talk a lot about dating guys who are in the spot light and who are apparently put off by independent women, “I actually talked to [Katy] about guys who are intimidated by strong girls.”
The reason she turned to someone else in the industry is because she hasn't “found someone yet who could understand my lifestyle, support it, love me through it, and not be threatened by it.”
It's not difficult to read between the lines and understand that she is referring to the highly publicized relationship between her and fellow singer Justin Bieber. They were the quintessential teen couple, the darlings of the media and of the millions of fans shouting their name at concerts and events.
It's not known what Katy told Selena, but she and Justin have been making the news with rumors of a possible reunion. They were photographed together going out for walks and on weekend getaways, as well as posting pictures of themselves embracing.
Both Selena and Justin are currently going through troubled times, Selena having just canceled her tour for health issues and Justin going through a low period in terms of work, public relations and even standings with the police.
He's currently involved in a police investigation regarding an egg-attack on one of his neighbors' homes. But that doesn't seem to deter Selena who looks eager to have him back, drug addiction rumors and everything.
Meanwhile, Katy is busy living the bliss of her relationship with singer John Mayer, sparking numerous rumors of an impending wedding in the near future.
