14 DAY TRIAL // Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are sending off some serious relations vibes after they had some time apart from one another. Though they've not actually confirmed they got back together, armies of paparazzi and their cameras have spotted them together on several occasion, and it's not like they're very good about hiding their feelings about one another.
But things got a serious turn when Selena was spotted wearing a ring on her left hand earlier this week, and immediately people started planning their wedding. While that may be jumping the gun a bit, it seems there are some serious concerns within the Gomez household that the new couple might elope.
An insider with the couple confirms to Hollywoodlife, “Her family is extremely worried that she’ll do something crazy like elope with him. Selena is totally wrapped back up in Justin, it’s the same pattern happening all over again.”
The insider also confirms the ring, “[it] was a gift from Justin, it’s not an engagement ring, but they are back on and very serious.”
The reason why Selena's family is getting all worried about this possible marriage and subsequent eloping is because, from past experiences, Justin hasn't been the best influence on the “Come and Get It” singer.
The same can be said about Justin, who seems to be acting out even more when he's around Selena. It looks as though they both bring the worst out of each other when they are together, and for this reason Selena's parents are keeping a close watch on her these days.
Mostly, they are worried that Selena will pick up her old partying ways in order to keep up with her boyfriend, who is notorious for his drug abuse. Meanwhile, Selena has already been to rehab earlier this year but failed to complete the 6-week course, bailing out early in claiming she had already dealt with the issue.
“She’s telling everyone that she’s fine, that they’re all overreacting but that’s not making anyone feel better about this,” says the same insider, adding, “The problem is no one wants to alienate her. She’s an adult now, it’s not like her parents can tell her what to do, so it’s a very delicate situation.”
“No one in her circle is happy that she’s back together with Justin, they’ve even talked about staging some sort of intervention to get her away from him but at this point that would only push her closer to him. Until he screws up again there’s not much that anyone can do,” reveals the source.
