14 DAY TRIAL // Over the weekend, rumors started picking up that Jelena (aka Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez) was no more. Various other insiders are confirming the breakup for the media, saying that it was Selena who did the dumping, and not the other way around.
Justin and Selena dated for roughly two years but, as of late, they’d been plagued by countless reports that there was serious trouble in paradise.
These seemed to be confirmed last week, when Justin attended the annual Victoria’s Secret show without Selena and, admittedly, did his best to hook up with one of the Angels.
People magazine has it from a very reliable source that it was Selena who did the breaking up because she had “trust issues,” which seemed to be stemming from the fact that they’d spend so much time apart.
“She broke up with him about a week ago. With them being apart so much it got complicated. She had some trust issues. It's not easy, but the relationship needed to end,” says a spy.
Oddly enough, Us Magazine has the same story: Selena decided to end the romance because she felt she could no longer trust Justin – or something along those lines.
“Selena broke up with Justin about a week ago. It's been a really challenging experience over the last year because of their crazy schedules. Selena definitely had some major trust issues with Justin,” says a tipster.
However, not all is lost, the mag further writes: friends still believe the two will eventually get back together again.
“They are [young]... it changes from day to day. Right now it is a break and tomorrow it could be back on knowing them ... it's hard to say how they will end up. Maybe she feels more serious about it this time. We'll see,” the source explains.
